APRIL 29, WEDNESDAY AT 9pm at ARTS SANTA MÒNICA
In the occasion of this presentation TRES presents a new action called THE NECESSARY ANGEL. The collective action meant to be an experience of attentive listening will consist on walking down the Ramblas blindfolded. The people willing to participate will be walking blindfolded being guided on their acoustic walk by somebody they can trust to do so. The actions will come to an end after a short performance with bells inside the building of ARTS SANTA MÒNICA (9pm) or CANALETAS (8pm for the acoustic walk).

Reciente publicación del libro coordinado por Mary Farrell y Manolo Dos Ramos.
El artículo de Tres titulado, "DAVID y GOLIATH - Silencio es solo silencio", describe los “Conciertos para Apagar”, una de las acciones silenciosas que Tres viene realizando desde el año 2000 y que consiste en el apagamiento gradual de espacios tecnológicos y edificios con el fin de conseguir un silencio liberado de residuos sonoros y luminosos hasta el máximo posible. Tras un breve preámbulo, el artículo informa en primer lugar sobre la génesis de su trabajo con el silencio y pasa luego a describir los “Conciertos para Apagar”, su origen, modalidades y praxis. Para acabar, se proponen algunas reflexiones en torno al uso y significado de la palabra silencio en el contexto acústico, y otras relacionadas con el concepto abstracto de “medida del silencio” que son ilustradas ampliamente con la descripción detallada de la “Acción Cortar el Silencio” y de la alegoría del “Borrador”.
